Most of the companies for which I worked as Engineering Services Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Director of Materials, Plant Manager and Executive Vice President have gone bankrupt (for no reason of mine) and are no longer around. Those include International Crystal Manufacturing Co., Sentry Manufacturing, General Electric Corp., Altec Lansing, Telxon, Compaq Computer Corp. & Conway Technologies. Products ranging from piezio electric crystals, printed circuit board fabrication & assembly, loud speakers, electronic sound systems & amplifiers, portable data acquisition equipment, personal computers, multilayer industrial disk drives, industrial and agricultural earth moving equipment. From 1978 until 1986 I owned an Executive Search Firm, Personal Attention, Inc., in Houston, Texas.
While consulting for Compaq Computer Corp., I designed their Corporate part numbering system - which is still used today.
I spend my free time showing and maintaining my “Trophy Winning” 1928 Ford Model A Roadster “Convertible” Pickup, a 1928 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan and an authentic 50,000 mile 1986 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible “Indy Pace Car”. We love to cruise and show our cars and attend many of the local events.
